Operation Amy- Postcard Blitz
1. Begins Today, Saturday August 18 and goes thru October 31(?) (From what I read they are filming Jezebel James thru October.
2. You can create your own card.
3. For those of you who are artisically or creatively challenged I created an album of photos you can use.

You can use one of these images or create your own at imagechef.com
(I created these at 6 am before I had my first cup of tea, sorry guys, I am a tea junkie)
I am also going to try and find some other sites just like imagechef. If I do I will post them.
When using one of the photos, just right click on it and save to your computer. Also please keep imagechef's logo on the photo...
If you create your own album at imagechef.com and if you want, please share your album with us by posting the link.
4. Microsoft Word has a postcard template you can use to create your postcard. It uses a 4 by 6 in card by Avery No. 8389. If you don't know how to access it, PM me, include your e-mail address and will send you instructions.
I have also made a template from Avery 8389 of the back of the postcard, complete with Amy's Studio address and a section for your message. PM me with your e-mail if you want the template.
5. If anyone has any images or sayings for the postcard, please do post we would love to see them!

7.Please post any ideas and comments. They are appreciated!

Hi Fran,
Thank you for doing all this! I will get started this week with sending out my postcards. I will go to Staples and get the Avery postcards.
I think for now we should just hit Amy with the postcards. That is to say if someone gets inspiration of a postcard to send to Dawn or CW or WB, they definitely should. But the daisy campaign is now specifically for Dawn. This Postcard Blitz campaign should be specifically for Amy and Dan. Maybe we should address the postcards to Amy and Dan since he is very much a part of GG too!

Thanks for your support of this campaign! Add Dan's name to the address or when you write your personal message, write Amy & Dan.... whatever people want to do is fine....
If we could think of one great saying on a postcard for Dawn/CW/WB/CBS then we could think about doing something like that. As you said The Daisy Campaign hits Dawn first, then maybe a postcard blitz after that. Something to think about.... discuss... |

That would be a great quote for a postcard. I would leave out the word TV and just say Gilmore Girls movie: PRICELESS!

I have posted it on the CW, TV.com, GG.org. and ABC Family. If someone belongs to the above two forums and any others would you please post the information about the campaign, there is only so much I can do. If you post this information about the Postcard Campaign, please let me know (by either posting it here or pming me) where so we don't double post and get people angry.
We need all the PR we can get about this Campaign!

I'll also try to add to the main stl.org page tonight .. just have to figure out where to put, buttons etc.
Does anyone already have a finished postcard layout on the computer so I can upload it to the mainpage and let people download from there? That would be great!!
